Christmas and New Year 2011

Christmas 2011 at Seamill Hydro is bigger and better than ever before, offering you the most Festive Family Fun in the South West of Scotland Ever!

Set on the Ayrshire coast with stunning views across the Firth of Clyde, isle of Arran and the Ayrshire countryside Seamill Hydro is one of Scotland’s favourite destinations.  

With our new winter wonderland Christmas attractions we are bringing you a Christmas on the coast like no other!

With Christmas attractions and events to suit children of all ages Seamill Hydro is the perfect Christmas destination or a fun and festive family day out in Ayrshire.

For small children we have Santa on hand in his magical ice palace grotto and our giant bouncy castle in Rudolf’s play room.  For the slightly older and braver we have our giant Helter Skelter with incredible views across the frozen Ayrshire coast, or the gentle classic carousel in our Victorian Fair.  

For the bigger kids we have our Rockin’ Rudolf ride, how long can you hold on to the famous red nose reindeer as he warms up for the big night?  No winter wonderland would be complete without something for the whole family to enjoy together and that’s why we have teamed up with Ice Magic (supplier to the Vancouver winter Olympics) to bring you our incredible outdoor ice skating rink for a magical Christmas experience!  With pantomimes every weekend throughout December nobody else brings you so much Christmas fun in one place!

Of course with so much festive fun to be had you will work up an appetite, that why we are offering an impressive range of places to eat to suit every taste.  For the kids we have Mrs Claus’ Tuck Shop which you can find in Rudolf’s Play Room for lots of tasty Christmassy treats to take away.  

The ever popular Pladda lounge with its magnificent views will be offering a Christmas “lite bite” menu and Rhody’s Bistro and the Aura Restaurant will be available in the evenings and at peak times for more substantial meals.

We will still play host to our famous Christmas Party Nights for some grown up fun.  With a great festive three course dinner including all your Christmas Favourites, followed by a great night of music and dancing from our legendary resident DJ.
