Travelling By Car

Directions from England M74
Join the A74 from the M6 then follow onto the M74. Exit the M74 at junction 8 following the A71 to Kilmarnock, then Irvine. Take the A78 at Irvine and follow to stevenston. There is now a Three Towns Bypass. Follow signs for Largs & Greenock going striaght through the roundabout at Morrisons in Stevenston. Follow the shore road when you come off of the bypass, into Seamill.

Follow M8 to Glasgow airportTaking the turning immediately afterwards junction 28A.
Follow directions for Beith / Irvine - A737
At Beith roundabout follow the A737 to Dalry (First Exit)
At Dalry follow directions for West Kilbride
Turn left at the traffic lights; first right; second left
Arriving at West Kilbride, take a right and turn opposite the
train station and continue through until you reach the t-junction at the bottom of the hill.
Turn left at the t-junction.
The Seamill Hydro is situated on the A78 about 600 yards from turning on the right handside.

Directions from Edinburgh
Head for Glasgow and follow the directions above

Directions from Prestwick Airport
Turn Right onto the A79, leaving Airport Terminal
at Monkton Roundabout
Follow the A78 to Greenock
Keep On A78 Past Irvine and Stevenston.
Take the Three Towns Bypass at the Morrisons roundabout at Stevenston then follow the shore road to Seamill when you get off of the Bypass.

From Kilmarnock
A71 Kilmarnock -Irvine at Irvine follow
directions for Greenock A78.

From Ayr
A78 signed Greencok (Coatal route) in the Village
of Seamill on the left hand side.

Travelling By Train

TRAIN FROM GLASGOW CENTRAL STATION
Travelling from Central Station in Glasgow on the train to Largs, passengers should alight at West Kilbride and travel on a
pre-arranged courtesy bus to Seamill Hydro. The train is
hourly most days.

Take the A78 at Irvine and follow the A78 bypass of
stevenston ,Saltcoats and Ardrossan.
